Biography

Dan Lahat is the firm’s founder and head of the firm’s Corporate and Hi-Tech Department.
With over 30 years of legal experience, Dan’s practice focuses on corporate law, venture capital and private equity financing, cross border transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
Dan has gained valuable experience by representing clients in numerous transactions, including, complex M&A, technology transactions, OEM’s, technology licensing, leveraged buy-outs and private placements.
Dan represents many Israeli and international clients in a variety of industries, including internet, new media, telecommunications, entertainment, industrial companies, life science and software.
In addition, Dan provides ongoing legal advice to senior management and board members and is highly esteemed by many of Israel’s wealthiest individuals and most active angel investors operating in Israel.
Prior to founding Lahat, Nahum, Shimony & Co., Dan was co-founder and a senior partner of Cohen Lahat & Co. and previously worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers’ mergers and acquisitions department in New York.
